The Next Second Chance

- Candace Jensin, the honest, independent and original frontwoman to her band, Dead On the Dancefloor. AKA the main character in the first book of the series.

- Brennan Coleman, the energetic, optimistic and impulsive frontman to his own band, Aubergine Dreams and Candace's other half. (Or, in his words, "the lesser half")

- Reilly Emerson, the calm, fragile and temperamental one who likes things to go his way and occasionally shows his true colors if and when they don't.

- Maria Miller, the confident, defiant and quick-witted blonde who sometimes acts more on her feelings than she should, most of the time at the cost of others. Very free-spirited and always loved by her best friends.

- Brett Jagger, the dreamy, compassionate, blue-eyed leader in Candace's band who has had to deal with more heartbreak than most, but somehow stays one of the most positive characters in the series.

- Pete Wernley, the reason Candace's life explodes once again into fame and fortune and the owner of the Mojave Records Record Company.

- Dan Kingston, DOTD's tiny, timing and true band manager who smokes like a chimney and is always up for a good practical joke.

- Robby, the band's bodyguard that works hard to keep friendships with the band while keeping their crazy fans and other threats in check.

- Jake, the witty, helpful and reliable bassist for Aubergine Dreams that can always put anyone in a good mood with his fast jokes. He's also the peacemaker of the group.

- Sebastian, the quiet, helpful and good-natured drummer for Aubergine Dreams that's always there when he's needed.

- Zane, the determined, work-driven, loyal bodyguard for Aubergine Dreams that takes his work seriously while also serving as a good friend to the boys.

- Seth McGuire, the mysterious, romantic lover-boy who swoops in to save the day more mysteriously than desired.

- Braxton Jensin, Candace's funny bassist of a younger brother who decides he'd rather do something else with his life than just music.

- Lori Clark, DOTD's guitarist and friends of Candace and Maria.

- Kendon Coleman, Ryland's watchful and worried older brother who serves as a part-time guitarist and part-time caretaker.

- Chandler Emerson, Californiation's young and talented drummer, one of Ryland's best friends and Kennidee's younger brother.

- Byron, the band's bleached-blonde ladies' man who keeps everyone in a light mood and occasionally disappears when he finds something more interesting to do.

- Brooklyn Castor, Kennidee's best friend in New York who makes some bad decisions that lead to her quitting the world of dance.

- Channing Abrums, Brooke's boyfriend, the star quarterback for the San Diego Chargers and one of Kennidee's favorite people.

- Sierra Kunitz, Ryland's blonde, bossy and beautiful chimney of a girlfriend that keeps him on his toes and lashes out when he doesn't do exactly as she'd like him to.

- Malcolm Badding, Kennidee's rude, arrogant and violent new boyfriend who promises her the world and instead gives her the worst of it.

- Aubriana Geronimo, Ryland's emotionally unstable model of a girlfriend who clings to him as if he's her lifeline throughout the second half of the story.

- Jena, the strong-willed, funny and gorgeous blonde that Ryland and Kendon meet on tour with Sunday Best that eventually marries Kendon and has Ever, their daughter.

- Bronx Wernley, Pete's mess of a son who fronts his band Sunday Best and falls into the traps of a stereotypical rock star before he gets to be too old.

Kids In Love

- Charly, the quiet, fun-loving main character who adores the Sixties era, road trips and music.

- Andy, Charlotte's sweet, caring and one-of-a-kind boyfriend who shares her love for music and makes her a mixtape before heading off to college.

- Shae, Charlotte's very beautiful, confident and loved best friend that has been hurt by guys more times than she cares to admit and hopes that Jon is different.

- Jon, Shae's perfect example of a boyfriend who seems to love her and care for her more than he cares for anybody else in the world.

The Dreamer's Son

- George Ross, the quiet, star-struck, determined man about town who gives up everything, including his girlfriend, Jacqueline, back in New York City at the beginning of the Great Depression to pursue a life of luxury, silver screens and red carpets in Hollywood. During his excursion in the land of the stars, he meets famous actors Charlie Chaplin and Boyd Ryder, who eventually serves as his very best friend. He also meets a dancer named Colleen upon returning to New York City for a Radio City Spectacular who he falls in love with.

- Jude Ross, the melancholic, abandoned son of a man killed in the 9/11 attacks who, though as musically talented as his grandfather, Ryan, has been dropped by too many friends and too many bands to make much of a comeback in modern times.

- Colleen, George's only true love who is passionate, loving and caring, even after George decides that White Picket Fence, America certainly isn't for him. Ryan's mysterious mother and Jude's great-grandmother.

- Noelle, Jude's quirky, spontaneous, blonde ex-girlfriend who made him change the way he saw the world and made him feel things he never thought somebody like him could ever feel.
